The Foundation has created a new grant for aspiring young junior and U17 athletes in there journey to become top international cyclists.
Mission 2026 Grants – Final Year
The Foundation’s Mission 2026 Grants are open for 2026 Applicants. Applications will be accepted until November 1, 2025. This application cycle will be the final year of this grant that supports Canada’s most promising U23 riders in their preparation for the U23 World Championships in Montreal. Apply here →
Mission 2026 – Grants for Men & Women
Last year the Foundation changed direction to prepare for Montreal 2026. The Foundation will support athletes born between 2004-2007 with the potential to be globally competitive U23’s – increasing Canada’s chances to field a competitive team at a Home Worlds 🥳
Mission 2026 – women’s grants
The Foundation is changing its direction following the announcement that Montreal will host the 2026 Road Cycling Championships. This will be the third time Canada has hosted this amazing event. It will also mark the wind-down of the Foundation. In order to support the preparation of a select number of Canada’s most promising athletes, The Foundation will support athletes born between 2004-2007.
2021 RCA On-Hold
As a result of the continued disruption of cycling from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Ross Chafe Award will not be awarded in 2021. The 03CF will support Canadian junior activities in 2021 and we are optimistic the RCA will be back in 2022.
New site, new look, new name
We’ve been around almost twenty years without a website. So we thought we’d do something about that.
2020 RCA On-hold
The Ross Chafe Award will not be distributed in 2020 as a result of the cancellation of both the National Championships and Junior competition at the World Championships. Fingers crossed, it will be back in 2021.
